Marty Brodnax

President

Marty oversees the strategic vision, planning, and implementation of Baker’s industrial business line along the gulf coast, including the refining, petro-chem, power, and supporting services marketplace.

Since 1994, Marty has held a variety of leadership positions within the industrial construction market, spanning the areas of operations, project estimation, project management, and business unit leader, focused primarily on the energy sector of industrial construction.

Over the course of his career, Marty has received many certifications and been part of nationally recognized project teams. Marty holds a B.S. in Construction Management and an Executive MBA from Louisiana State University. He currently serves on the Board of multiple non-profit organizations, and enjoys his time away from work with his wife Cheryl, and two boys Jack and Max.

Joey Goscha

Vice President of Operations

Joey Goscha’s primary focus at Baker GCI is to lead project managers and handle daily processes related to administration, business development, estimating and scheduling. He works directly with construction managers to build and set up project teams and crews and is known for producing safe, quality filled jobs in a timely manner.

Joey joined Baker in 2019, but he’s been working in the construction industry since 1995 with the majority of his career in the oil and gas industrial sector. He started his career in survey and has held positions including superintendent, site manager, project manager, site director and operations manager.

Wayne Litton

Vice President of Estimating

Wayne Litton has been in construction since 2006, filling the roles of estimator and estimating manager in the office, as well as serving as an onsite estimating manager and area project manager on job sites. These dual roles have given him a unique understanding of how to align business operations with the onsite challenges faced by our teams and our clients and its given him the experience to lead the estimating team at Baker Gulf Coast Industrial Group to success.

A graduate of Louisiana Tech University, Wayne holds a bachelor’s degree in business management. After graduation, he spent two years on active duty status with the Louisiana Army National Guard at the Camp Cook Leadership Academy and abroad in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He and his wife, Natalie, along with daughters Eleanore and Audrey call Geismar, Louisiana home. They are excited for Baker to be here providing opportunity and investment in the Gulf Coast region.

Charlie Granata

Vice President of Construction

Ryan Galiano

Personnel Manager

With 22 years of experience as a recruiter and personnel manager, and 17 of those in the civil industrial market, Ryan Galiano brings a proven strategy for helping employers in the oil and gas industry open doors to better ways of providing quality, safe work practices and creating systems for employees to be directly recognized.

Known for his proactive approach to communication, Ryan has helped build core teams of high performers, where every member can take pride in what’s accomplished together. At Baker GCI, Ryan is working to instill our spirit of accountability and teamwork across our workforce, taking it to the next level to inspire our co-workers for years to come.

Born and raised in Laplace, Louisiana, Ryan graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a bachelor’s degree in business management. Married and the father of two sons, he has a burning desire to give back to the industry after experiencing all it has provided to him.

Austin Daggett

Senior Estimator

Austin Daggett joined the Baker family in 2019 to help grow our industrial concrete construction capacity in the Gulf Coast region. As our senior estimator he is responsible for preconstruction planning, cost evaluation and execution innovation for prospective projects.

Austin brings seven years of concrete construction experience to the Baker team. He began in the business as a carpenter helper while working on his bachelor’s degree in business administration and management at McNeese State University. After graduation, he began his estimating career as a project cost engineer, providing onsite estimates and planning strategies for a large industrial project.

Austin and his wife Andrea live with their two children in Prairieville, Louisiana.

Logan Zeferjahn

Director of Safety

Logan Zeferjahn is responsible for managing the safety, risk and compliance associated with projects and company operations at Baker GCI, as well as planning, directing and implementing our safety program promoting an incident and injury free work environment.

Originally from Kansas, Logan traveled to the Gulf Coast area to pursue a career in industrial construction. He joined the Baker family with 13 years of experience in the environment, health and safety field, and he holds the Board of Certified Safety Professionals designation of Safety Management Specialist (SMS). He’s also a member of the Greater Baton Rouge Chapter of the American Society of Safety Professionals.

Lance Arvel

Business Development Manager

Lance Arvel brings two decades of experience spanning multiple markets and regions of the U.S. construction industry to his role leading the business development and marketing departments for BGCI. An active industrial leader, Lance serves on many organization committees, primarily within the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Pelican and National Chapters, where his service was honored when he was named the ABC National Young Professional of the year for 2018.

Oscar Giron

Project Manager

In his role as a project manager at Baker GCI, Oscar Giron fosters an environment of teamwork, ensuring that strategy is clearly defined while overseeing performance, maintaining schedules and fostering great morale. With strong communication and client service skills Oscar has made a mark at Baker and helped to shape our management philosophy.

Oscar has over seven years of experience overseeing all phases of multi-million-dollar construction projects. Responsible for total project management including controlling budgets, negotiating subcontracts, cost and billings, projections and providing day to day communication with project teams, Oscar ensures jobs remain on schedule and within budget.

Oscar began his career as field labor employee and has served many roles since: cost engineer, planner and scheduler, project control, assistant project manager, and project manager. He holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Louisiana State University.

Outside of work Oscar enjoys getting outdoors and traveling with his wife and daughter.

Kenneth Wolf

Senior Account Advisor

Kenneth has worked in the construction industry for nearly 50 years. He has worked in field management, general supervision and VP of Industrial services during this time. He has established a new industrial division for a successful contractor in the local area and helped build  one of the most successful deep foundations groups for one of the largest GC Contractors in the area as their BD Manager. As a Senior Account Advisor, Kenneth is focused on building and maintaining strong relationships with general contractors, owners, and commercial.

He and his wife Kathy live in Gonzales, LA, and share three children, Kelly, Kacie, and Kory. Between their children, their family has five grandchildren.

Tom Howard

Vice President – Operations

Tom has worked in the industry since 1989. As our Vice President – Operations, Tom oversees all areas of project management and field operations for BGCI’s Deep Foundation service. With a commitment to excellence and a customer-focused approach, his goal is to become the most trusted Deep Foundations contractor in the country.

As a graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi, Tom earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management. Tom and his wife, Nancy, call Baton Rouge, LA, home, and share three daughters and four grandchildren.

Kelly Wolf

Deep Foundations Vice President of Estimating

Kelly has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, specializing in Deep Foundation installation. For the past ten years, he oversaw deep foundation proposals and pricing efforts, developed and maintained COE labor and equipment rates, as well as provided technical support for business development efforts. With his role as Deep Foundations Vice President of Estimating, Kelly will continue to do this as well as work to develop his co-workers.

Kelly and his wife, Melissa, call Denham Springs, LA home and have three sons: Kyle, Parker, and Elijah. Kelly graduated from The University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Biology.

Derek Duhon

Project Manager / Estimator

Hurricane Katrina and the opportunity to help rebuild the region led Derek to a career in construction. He has worked in residential, commercial, public and industrial construction markets. Derek is passionate about deep foundations’ construction because of the complexity the work involves. As the Project Manager / Estimator for BGCI’s Deep Foundation service, Derek successfully estimates bid packages with a focus on safety, quality, and cost, while establishing BGCI’s reputation as the premier Deep Foundations contractor in the region.

Derek earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Engineering Technology from Southeastern Louisiana University. He and his wife Amanda recently welcomed a son, Parrish. Their growing family resides near the BGCI office in Prairieville, LA.

Trey Camet

Construction Manager

Trey works as a Construction Manager for BGCI and has over 30 years of experience in the industry. While working as general labor for a heavy civil contractor, he found his passion for deep foundations. Throughout his career, Trey has continuously advanced because of his commitment to project success. As the Construction Manager, he coordinates field activities, including developing project-specific execution strategies and management of resources.

Trey and his wife of almost 30 years, call Lafayette, LA home. They have three children together and enjoy spending time in their backyard as a family.
