BGCI Announces Launch of its Deep Foundations Services

PRAIRIEVILLE, LA (June 29, 2020) – Baker Gulf Coast Industrial, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Baker Construction Enterprises, the country’s largest and most successful concrete construction company, is now offering deep foundations services. Based in Prairieville, LA, the new service offering will extend BGCI’s expertise in deep foundation techniques and related solutions, including driven displacement pile, drilled shaft, auger cast-in-place (ACIP) pile, helical pile, and retention systems.

Led by Vice President of Operations, Tom Howard, the team will initially include Kelly Wolf (Vice President of Estimating), Derek Duhon (Project Manager/Estimator), and Trey Camet (Construction Manager). With over 100 combined years of experience in deep foundation design and execution, they have the breadth and depth of knowledge to bring value to even the most challenging industrial, public, and commercial projects— on land, in water, or with limited access.
