BGCI Achieves Diamond Level STEP Award

BGCI has once again achieved the prestigious Diamond-level Safety Training Evaluation Process (STEP) designation from Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Pelican and Bayou chapters. Diamond is the highest level awarded by ABC’s STEP program, which measures participating organizations’ safety processes and procedures across 25 components. Companies that receive a Diamond STEP designation are considered 645% safer than the industry average. BGCI was also awarded the Diamond-level designation in 2022.

“At BGCI, it’s not enough to meet baseline standards,” said Logan Zeferjahn, BGCI Director of Safety. “Participating in the STEP program ensures our safety program exceeds the industry average and raises the bar on our safety processes and procedures.”
